  • The Elementary Ambassadors is a prestigious club in which incoming sixth-grade students are selected to serve through an application and interview process. Members participate in various school and community service activities and act as the official hosts/hostesses for KES events.

    Welcome to the Kinston High School Bands!

    Our Beginner Band is composed of students from the 5th grade. Theses students have just started learning to play an instrument for the first time, have lots of fun practicing in a group, have 1-on-1 instructional time, and have the privilege to perform at the fall, Christmas, and spring concerts!

    Our Intermediate Band is composed of students from the 6th grade who have played their instrument for a full year. These students enjoy playing more challenging repertoire. These students get to perform at the fall, Christmas, and spring concerts as well as perform a few other times a year.

    Our High School Band is comprised of students in grades 7-12.  These students participate in Marching, Concert, and Pep band. Students have a multitude of performance opportunities including pep-rallies, football games, concerts, honor bands, area competitions, and special events. The high school band is currently growing and would love to have all interested and hard-working students join them. The band and auxiliary boasts superior ratings from their marching band season competitions
